Every Christmas I manage to find a perfect moment when time stands still and the beauty and purpose of life comes shining through with clarity and calm.
That Sunday morning, Covenant Presbyterian featured two of my favorite Christmas hymns, “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Joy to the World.”
I always am a bit paranoid singing in church. I am a baritone, caught between tenor and bass. If I sing bass, I hardly make a peep. If I sing tenor, I have to strain to hit the high notes. Filled with the Christmas spirit, I belted it out.
