MORE VENDORS are on tap for Madison’s farmers market, after 16 participated in the inaugural event last week, one official said.
“We’ve already gotten two new vendors registered, one for baked goods and one for jams and jellies,” said Madison Business Development Director Robin McCrory.
“I’m working to get fresh seafood there. I got a call yesterday from somebody with Mississippi Gulf Coast seafood,” McCrory said last week.
As the season progresses, more produce will be available.
