Area schools spending millions on improvements
SEVERAL NORTHSIDE schools are finishing up or still working on construction and improvement projects as classes begin this semester.
At Madison County Schools, “construction’s hot and heavy right now,” said newly appointed facilities director Brad Peets, former principal at Germantown Middle School (GMS).
Madison Central High School (MCHS) and GMS are both finishing up major projects. At Madison Central, work is being done in the school, outside the school and even on the roof.
