JACKSON police are looking into whether or not an armed robbery on the night of April 12 is connected to a robbery carjacking that occurred on April 9. On the night of April 12, a woman was walking to her apartment when she was approached by an unknown black male who demanded her purse.
The suspect took the woman’s purse, cell phone and DVD player before fleeing the scene in a maroon Buick Rendezvous, said Jackson Police Department spokeswoman Officer Colendula Green.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m., in the 5000 block of Ridgewood Road.
