Restaurant owners along Capitol Street say residents interested in eating out still should visit the corridor, even with construction going on.
In fact, business leaders in downtown Jackson say traffic is still flowing pretty smoothly on the street, despite the orange cones and work crews.
“I travel it five to six times a day. It’s somewhat inconvenient, but is it a major problem in my life? No,” said Downtown Jackson Partners (DJP) President Ben Allen.
