City scrambles to repair St. Andrews Drive
A golf tournament that is expected to draw thousands of people to the capital city is spurring Jackson city officials to repair St. Andrews Drive.
The Sanderson Farms Championship is being moved to the Country Club of Jackson.
Because of that, city leaders are stringing together the funds needed to bring the road up to par.
Currently, the street needs approximately $500,000 in repairs. The worst section of the roadway is located between Hoy Lake Drive and Winged Foot Circle.
