The Sierra Club, which once supported the use of natural gas as a bridge to its hope for total reliance on “green energy,” has now come out against it.
Apparently the powerful environmental group is worried the glut of natural gas is driving the price of electricity down too much. Their ultimate goal of near total reliability on non-fossil fuels is unachievable, they must believe, unless the price of traditional energy can be driven up.
