Leo McGehee flew airplanes, tail draggers and tricycle gear, L5 “Bird Dogs,” Tri-Pacer, Decathlon, Ercoupe, a T-33 Jet. Leo McGehee flew gliders in Swiss mountains and towed sailplanes in Mississippi. He flew acrobatics in the Stits “Playboy” experimental plane he assembled in his garage.
Daddy took me flying, let me fly the plane and even do stalls.
Leo McGehee captained sailboats, drove wooden speedboats, pulled skiers behind ski boats, fished out of bass boats, and carried school kids on houseboats.
