First phase of improvements to Thalia Mara Hall should be completed by summer
The first phase of improvements at Thalia Mara Hall are under way, with officials saying the work should be completed in time for the USA International Ballet Competition (USA IBC) this summer.
“We’re just under halfway through. Many of the crews will move out at the end of April. Then, we’ll come in and install the seats,” said Colby Dearman, an architect with Cooke Douglass Farr and Lemons, the firm that drew up plans for the hall’s renovation.
