AFTER A MEDIOCRE inaugural season for the Germantown Mavericks in 2011, the team is looking to move forward and continue to build the football program into a successful one. The Mavericks went 3-7 in their first year in existence, but head coach Tim Shramek believes that the team and the football program as a whole is exactly where it needs to be. “We felt like we had three or four losses that we had a chance to win,” Shramek said. “Plus we were very young and inexperienced, so last year was really good for everyone.”
