While awaiting the much anticipated (by Marvel fans) “The Avengers,” starring Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, the Black Widow and Thor, I must admit to intense excitement on my part and on the part of my two-year-old son, Paul. Every night after reading books we watch the DVD of “Thor,” starring Chris Hemworth (“Star Trek”) in the title role, and Oscar and Golden Globe winners and nominees Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Renee Russo (Freya), Idris Elba (Hemdall), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Stellan Skarsgaard (Selvig), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki).
