Recent sanctions handed down against Jackson Academy (JA) won’t affect the perennial powerhouse’s chances for the postseason, according to Raider head coach David Sykes.
The school was recently forced to forfeit two wins from the 2013 season because of an ineligible player on the team.
The school was also put on a one-year probation, which is essentially a warning, and fined $500 by the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS).
