Jackson receives grant to help fund second phase of Museum to Market Trail
Although the Museum to Market Trail is still in the engineering phases, the project itself is picking up steam.
The city of Jackson recently received a $300,000 grant for the second phase of the trail, and has plans in the works to extend the pathway even farther north.
However, because of cost concerns, a plan to run the trail around the wooded area surrounding the J.H. Fewell Water Treatment Plant has been temporarily shelved.
