Leighton Whitehead, Jackson Academy  graduating ninth-grade student, was awarded the Glenn Cain Scholarship for the 2012-2013 year. The scholarship is given to a rising sophomore, junior, and senior. It is based on academic performance, school citizenship, and service to institution.
