Drew McMahen is still adjusting to life in the real world.
More than three months after he and his girlfriend Kristi Kose hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, he’s still not used to getting phone calls and text messages again.
“It has not been easy at all,” he said, referring to readjusting. “As soon as we got off the trail and made it to Canada, we ended up flying around the country to see friends and family.
