Services were held December 22 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, Highland Colony Parkway, Madison, for Luther Hasting Hammons of Madison. The Rev. David Carroll officiated.

Hammons passed away peacefully December 20 after failing health. 

Hammons was born November 22, 1923, in Wesson, to the late Eugene N. and Hattie Hammons.  Nine brothers and sisters predeceased him.
