Madison supervisors vote to address problem of Hearn Creek erosion

WITH A CREEK eroding in Madison and a storage building in danger of falling in, the Madison County Board of Supervisors voted recently to express official interest in fixing the problem.
“This was kind of step one for our local soil conservationists to send out their engineers, and we’ll send out our engineers,” said District 1 Supervisor John Bell Crosby referring to Hearn Creek, which lies in his district between Rice Road and North Old Canton Road.
