THE CITY OF MADISON is done growing in size for a while.
Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler said the city is not considering annexing any more land right now, though a proposed update of the city’s land-use map outlines a “study area” for potential annexation.
“We’re still trying to take care of what we’ve got after doubling the size of the city [in 2008],” Butler said.
