Mike Sturdivant’s funeral Saturday drew two former governors and one former gubernatorial hopeful.
Besides reflecting the stature and respect with which the late Glendora planter and businessman was held, the presence of William Winter, Ronnie Musgrove and Bill Luckett was also emblematic of the altered political landscape in Mississippi.
All three are part of a dying breed — white Democratic moderates.
