Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bennett of Bethlehem, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Lyn Bennett, to Christopher Lee Rea, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gean Rea of Jackson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bryant of Snellville, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Davis of Covington, Ga., Anne Bennett of Snellville, Ga., and the late Allen Bennett.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby G. Rea of Nauvoo, Ala., and Mrs. Eugene W. Atkinson of Jackson, and the late Mr. Atkinson.
