Miss Hailey and Polk announce plans for October 27 wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Hailey of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Katherine Hailey, to Zachary Kane Polk of Palm Desert, Calif., formerly of Madison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Peggy Hailey and the late Tillman Hailey of Dekalb, and Mr. and Mrs. James Metts of Louisville.

Miss Hailey is a 2006 graduate of West Lauderdale High School and a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in social work.
