Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Carlton Mitchell announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Cassell Mitchell, to William Horace Allen III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Horace Allen II of Clarksdale.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Lee Howard Trapp of Monticello, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Otis Mitchell of Jackson.
