Dr. and Mrs. Dexter Winn Walcott announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Arrington Walcott, to Olivier Paul Martial Magny, son of Drs. Anne and Jean-Paul Magny of Paris, France.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Allan Shackelford and the late Mr. Shackelford of North Carrollton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dewitt Walcott Jr. of Greenville.
