The Mississippi History Museum and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum will mean hundreds of jobs and tens of millions of dollars in economic development for the metro area.
A report conducted by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) and Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) shows that the construction of the two museums will create 500 direct and 275 indirect jobs, and a combined $37.2 million in wages over the next four years.
