Northsiders join thousands in racing through fire, mud, obstacles in Warrior Dash

WHAT DO SLICK, muddy ropes, a big pile of shoes, turkey legs, live music and beer have in common?
They were all part of the Warrior Dash, a 5K race that’s more of an all-day event, held April 21 at Mississippi Off-Road Adventures.
Nearly 9,500 people, including many Northsiders, ran in the race, which included obstacles and challenges such as a climbing wall, swimming through muddy water, and jumping over fire.
