Overlay district will allow residents to subdivide land

RESIDENTS ARE happy to have reached an agreement with the city of Madison about an overlay district in the North Livingston Place neighborhood.

Final regulations for the overlay, approved early this month, allow property owners to subdivide lots and still remain in the district as long as certain size requirements are met. Originally, the overlay would have prohibited any subdivision of lots.
