You know you’re getting old when your friends are judges.
Hinds County Circuit Judge Jeff Weill is my fellow Pearl River kayaker, Bible study colleague and family man commisserator. It’s rare to find a judge who drives an old beat-up pickup truck. He’s a true Christian who never lets religion interfere with his great sense of humor.
So when Judge Weill suggested we take a trip to Parchman, I jumped at the opportunity.
