Ridgeland officials selected Waste Management as the contractor with the best proposal for its residential curbside recycling program. The final contract is under negotiation. Waste Management’s proposal includes significant changes to the existing residential curbside recycling program. New with the proposed program: Each household in Ridgeland will be provided with a 64-gallon recycling cart; an incentive program will be provided to encourage recycling. Points will be earned each time a household recycles.
