Police are out in full force this year to make sure Northsiders have a safe and happy Christmas.
The holiday shopping season officially kicked off on Black Friday, with some stores opening even earlier on Thanksgiving night.
The Jackson Police Department (JPD) is currently running special details as part of Operation Safe Shop, along with other area law officials.
The theme for Jackson’s Operation Safe Shop this year is “Look to the Blue Lights.”
