SIDEWALKS and lighting improvements are on tap for Fondren’s lower business district.
Jackson city officials say engineers are now designing a project to make the corridor more pedestrian-friendly.
The planning phase could wrap up this fall and, pending approval from the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), the project could be bid out and ready to go by the spring.
