Sixty years of amateur theater
My theatrical career may be over. “The Grapes of Wrath” closed at New Stage Theatre on November 3 after a 13-day run that reawakened memories of my international theatrical career, particularly those involving New Stage.
The “international” applies because of one show, “The Glass Menagerie,” with the Nassau Players when I lived in the Bahamas. Except for the last two shows at New Stage, I was never paid.
