WHAT RECESSION?
Since the Great Recession began in 2008, Ballet Mississippi’s budget has grown by nearly a third, teachers have been given a pay raise, and enrollment is at record numbers.
Similarly, the Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet (MMB) is reporting its strongest-ever enrollment for MMB’s nonprofit company and for-profit school for the 2011-12 fiscal year, following three years of stable enrollment, donations and ticket sales.
