Please send your news item to Jimmye Sweat, editor of the Northside Sun, at jimmye@northsidesun.com. You may reach Jimmye by telephone at 601-957-1123. Attach any photos to the email in a jpg format, if possible. Please be sure to include a description of the photo and identify everyone in the photo.

DEADLINES: All editorial copy for the newspaper is due at least a week prior to the Thursday publication date. All editorial copy for the magazine is due by the 25th of the month for publication two months ahead. For example, submissions for publication in July are due by May 25. Holiday deadlines will be announced in the newspaper.
