The results of a much-anticipated study are in, and it appears that millions of dollars are needed to restore an artistic Jackson landmark.

Members of the Jackson City Council were recently briefed on the findings of a five-month study on the feasibility of restoring Thalia Mara Hall.

In all, consultants estimate that it will take nearly $9 million to restore the 44-year-old landmark, a move that will increase the facility’s use and save the city millions of dollars in the long run.
