All across the metro Jackson area and even throughout the United States hundreds of volunteers are busy making preparations for the 2012 Trail of Honor. This military salute event, which will be held May 19-20 in Jackson at the Harley-Davidson dealership, pays tribute to America’s armed forces and offers visitors a unique, free, and family-friendly experience. This year’s celebration marks the 10th anniversary of the Trail of Honor. Without the dedicated effort of tireless volunteers like Northsider Erik Hearon and Cheryl Shelton, the Trail of Honor would not exist.
