After winning just two games in 2011, The Veritas School hopes to rebound this year on the football field.
The Lions had a slow start, losing their opening match to Kemper Academy, but will have a chance to improve their fortunes when they play Clinton Christian Academy tomorrow night.
Head Coach Steve Spinks said it’s still early in the season, and he is optimistic his team can turn things around. “If we play up to our potential, we can compete in every game,” he said.
