BLOCKED TRAFFIC lanes on Old Canton Road will soon mean a smoother walking trail at Parham Bridges Park.
But at least one Jackson city leader would like to see much more done to make the park a sought-after destination for families, children and tennis enthusiasts.
The city of Jackson is currently advertising for bids to repave Parham Bridges’ mile-long trail at the corner of Old Canton and Ridgewood roads.
The work is being funded with money given to the city by Gulf South Pipeline to install a natural gas pipeline under park property.
