Rev. Carol Spencer is a member of the executive committee of Working Together Jackson (WTJ). She was one of the founders of the Amos network, named after the Biblical profit, the predecessor of WTJ. Spencer lives in North Jackson with her husband, the Rev. Frank Spencer, and has two grown sons. She attended Centenary College in Shreveport, La. She spoke to Sun Staff Writer Anthony Warren about WTJ and its efforts to organize groups for change across Jackson and the metro area.
