Trey Porter is director of community relations with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH). Part of his job includes working with the Foundation for Mississippi History. Porter is a graduate of Millsaps College and is married to the former Kimberly Griffing. They have two daughters, both of whom attend Jackson Prep. He spoke to the Sun recently about the foundation and its role to bring two Mississippi history museums to fruition.
