Hinds County Sheriff Tyrone Lewis recently spoke to the North Jackson Lions Club. Lewis gave members an update on his first 100 days in office. In that time, Lewis said he has scaled back the number of administrators to put more deputies on the streets. Lewis discussed other administrative changes, concerns at the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond, and his efforts to team up with other law enforcement agencies within the county.
