
ONE NORTHSIDE neighborhood still wants Jackson to expand its policy on public access gates.
However, it likely will be another year before city leaders would be willing to consider any changes to an ordinance that allows certain neighborhoods to install the devices while not allowing others.
Until changes are made, leaders with the Northpointe Homeowners Association are assessing their options, and taking steps to cut down on crime and through-traffic along one of their busiest thoroughfares.
