
NORTH JACKSON residents will likely lose a seat in the Mississippi House of Representatives, but one Northside lawmaker won’t admit it.
Lawmakers recently approved new Senate and House district lines, based on information in the 2010 Census. If the lines are upheld by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), one North Jackson lawmaker would be drawn out of the district he has been elected to represent for four terms.
