Sometimes - not too often but occasionally - some group’s bitter disappointment is a blessing and a great relief for other groups, other individuals. A headline in last week’s Northside Sun pinpointed such a rare instance: “Old Farmers Market Saved by Congress.” And you thought this year’s Congress hasn’t accomplished anything significant.
This is the end, not of the story, but of a lengthy first chapter, and I for one am delighted.
