Quentin Whitwell believes Parham Bridges Park has a bright future.
A new nonprofit being formed by the Jackson city councilman could help that potential be realized.
Whitwell is organizing a 501(c)(3) to help raise money for the facility at the corner of Old Canton and Ridgewood roads. Funds brought in through the group would be used to create a master plan for the park and make some much needed improvements there.
