Detour scheduled for Pear Orchard Road

STARTING IN mid-August, drivers should start thinking about alternate routes if they travel Pear Orchard Road in Ridgeland.

Thornton Construction Company will be replacing a ditch system used by the Longmeadow neighborhood, located off Pear Orchard between Lake Harbour Drive and School Street. The project is supposed to alleviate longtime drainage issues in the area.
