Jackson police and residents are planning to boost patrols, following a string of auto break-ins in a Northside neighborhood.
On June 15, suspects broke into 14 vehicles in Fondren, smashing windows and getting away with several items.
Five incidents occurred on Kings Highway; two each were reported on Pennsylvania Avenue and Hawthorn Avenue; and one each occurred on Council Circle, Galloway Avenue, Arrowhead Drive, Broadway Drive and North State Street.
