Northsiders selected to represent national parties

THE MISSISSIPPI Republican and Democratic parties recently chose delegates to represent the state at the parties’ national conventions later this summer, and several Northsiders made the lists.

Besides state party chairman Joe Nosef, Gov. Phil Bryant and other government figures, six Northsiders will attend the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Tampa, August 27 through 30: David Landrum of Madison County; Bobby Elmore of Madison; Cindy Phillips of Madison; Sampat Shivangi of Ridgeland; Freda Bush of Jackson; and Arnie Hederman of Jackson.
