LEFLEUR EAST WANTS to use the Creekmore House as its headquarters, and is now seeking permission from the city of Jackson to do so.
The foundation has applied for a special exception permit to use the 3,000-square-foot home on Old Canton Road for office and reception space.
The planning board is expected to vote on the application at its meeting on July 25. The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m., in the Warren Hood Building.
Zoning Administrator Esther Ainsworth said her office has received no complaints regarding the plans.
