Norma Katharine Butts, a 2009 graduate of Madison Central, was selected as the Taylor Medal recipient in economics at the University of Mississippi. She is the daughter of Bennie and Pam Butts of Madison and the granddaughter of Northsiders Pete and Peggy Daschbach, and Norma Butts of Laurel.
