Dr. and Mrs. Dexter Winn Walcott announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Arrington Walcott, to Olivier Paul Martial Magny, son of Drs. Anne and Jean-Paul Magny of Paris, France.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Allan Shackelford and the late Mr. Shackelford of North Carrollton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dewitt Walcott Jr. of Greenville.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martial Simon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Magny, all of Paris.
